General

  • A software engineering bootcamp is a concentrated training program that teaches essential skills and provides real-world training for people seeking jobs in technology or software engineering. Bootcamps condense the time and expense required to pursue a traditional higher education degree by focusing on the hard and soft skills that employers desire. As a result, bootcamps can provide an accelerated path to a rewarding career in technology.

  • Codeworks is the #1 coding bootcamp in Europe and one of the top coding bootcamps in the world. They train aspiring tech professionals in software engineering and web development in their campuses in Barcelona, Berlin, London and North America. Codeworks graduates are highly regarded in the tech ecosystem and can be found working in companies such as Google, Spotify, etc.

Project Code is a joint venture between Codeworks and Digital Bridge with a mission to develop the best full stack software engineers in Bangladesh. Students of Project Code will be trained using the same curriculum, course content, and teaching methodologies as Codeworks students .

  • The program is 12 weeks and runs 6 days a week from Monday to Saturday.

  • Project Code’s classes are all in person and will take place at our campus in Dhaka.

  • Our campus is currently under construction and will be located in the prestigious and well connected Gulshan commercial area of Dhaka.

  • Your instructors have been hand picked and carefully selected based on their passion for and experience in software engineering, their exceptional leadership and team building skills.

All our instructors have taken the Codeworks software engineering course themselves and have been rigorously trained by foreign Codeworks instructors to ensure you get the best experience during your program.

You will have access to your instructors at all times throughout the program to help guide you.

  • Our focus from day 1 is to prepare you for a successful career in technology. You will spend most of your program hours on coding, solving problems and learning how to build full or partial projects, just as you would do in your future job.

We also spend a lot of time on the development of your soft skills such as business communication, reliability, teamwork, time management, problem-solving, etc.

Very few programs globally have the breadth of this program, and we achieve this by running an intensive and immersive program, where an unmatchable number of training hours are invested in making you a top full stack engineer.

  • Yes and no. If you're incredibly smart and tenacious, you might be able to master the theory on your own, but it would probably take you far longer. However, the reality is that without strong support, people typically become stuck along the road, lose motivation, and ultimately give up. In addition, even if you are the exception, you would undoubtedly miss the added value that a coding bootcamp may offer.

  • No. You must be completely committed to this program due to its immersive nature and the time commitment needed. Therefore, make sure you can separate work and other obligations during the program period by planning ahead.

  • Whether you have or don't have prior coding skills, anyone is invited to apply.

But in order to complete the program effectively, you must be familiar with the principles of coding and have a working grasp of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Therefore, don't be concerned if you are beginning from scratch; simply let us know throughout the application process. We'll provide you with a remote-learning introduction to coding course that will help you get ready for the admissions hurdle right away.

  • Most Project Code students will already know how to code once they start the main course (the ones that start from zero learn during the admission challenge preparation).

Our program gives you a great opportunity to understand advanced JavaScript concepts, master top JavaScript frameworks, learn industry best practices, and advance your career to the next step.

During our intro chat, we can give you personalized feedback, assessing together your coding level and career objectives.

  • You need to be able to understand when someone speaks in English, and express yourself well enough so that people around you know what you mean. Also keep in mind that most coding documentation online is in English, so understanding the language is indispensable to be able to properly work in this field.

As a rule of thumb, if you can watch a movie in English without subtitles and follow along you should be able to attend the course.

  • No, applying to the course starts the interview process, which can lead to the admission challenge if you pass the screening rounds. Only if you pass the admission challenge are you admitted to the course.

  • We will carefully assess your competency and personal fit during the interviews.

From a competency perspective, you need to have basic programming knowledge and speak English fluently. If you have zero experience in programming, we’ll give you an intro to programming course to help you pass the technical rounds.

On the other hand, as far as personal traits go we look for students who are driven, friendly, brilliant, professional, disciplined and good at working in teams.
